Unlocking value for farmers with carbon intensity scoring.

AgIntensity helps Ag Producers and Elevators capture and create value from their carbon intensity score.

Our Approach

Local

We’re not flying in from Silicon Valley or New York City.
We’re proudly based in Nebraska.

Producer-First

Producers and elevators have to work together to build a regional carbon intensity scoring system that protects price and privacy.

Futureproofing

You deserve a voice in how carbon intensity scoring works instead of waiting for big corporations to create their own standard.

What is Carbon Intensity?

Carbon intensity measures how much carbon dioxide is generated by farming. For example: the more diesel burned, miles transported, etc. can increase the “carbon intensity” of a bushel of corn.

The wind is changing. Are you ready?

Section 45Z of the Inflation Reduction Act shows us that carbon intensity scores will likely be required for all grain producers and elevators—starting with ethanol.

Producers can either wait for big companies to set the rules, or they can help create the solution themselves.

Create the system you want.

We’re in a rare moment where the Inflation Reduction Act has provided ethanol tax credits for carbon intensity scoring. This means producers and elevators can get ahead of the game and have a voice in how to get value from it.

Our Process

Work with producers and elevators

Carbon intensity scoring should benefit producers and elevators,
not burden them.

Create the system

Because of the tax credits, there is urgency to create the carbon intensity scoring system before corporations force one on producers and elevators.

Unlock value

More money in the industry is good for everyone.
Let’s unlock it for our region.

Protect Your Future.

Be a part of creating the carbon intensity scoring system before one is mandated to our region by big Ag companies.
